PFUJ condoles death of Geo News journalist Arshad Waheed

ISLAMABAD—Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) has condoled the death of Geo News journalist and sr. vice president of National Press Club, Arshad Waheed Chaudhry due to coronavirus in Islamabad.                                                  

In a statement President PFUJ Shahzada Zulfiqar and Secretary-General Nasir Zaidi and all other office-bearers termed the tragic death of the prominent and brave journalist a great loss to the journalist community.

Chaudhry was a bold and experienced journalist, known for his integrity and honesty, the union leaders said.

PFUJ leadership said that his services for the rights of the journalists and freedom of press will always be remembered.
